July 23rd & 24th marked two of the hottest days this summer. It also marked the construction of the Pavilion at Collings Lakes Elementary School.
We had almost 40 volunteers show up at 6AM each day.
When the trees on the playground were removed there was no place to find shade from the sun. The children now have a place to cool off during recess. The new pavilion will give the teachers an opportunity to hold outdoor classes. Maybe even a birthday party or two can be held there.
I want to extend my thanks to all of the builders and all of the people who supported them during the construction.
Alice said she was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love.
Joey is forever in our hearts.
Thank you.
